When you peel away the leathery skin of a ripe avocado you find the rich buttery fruit inside. Avocados are so good for you and rich in natural fats and vitamins. It is a wonderful skin food, and also one of my favorite natural beauty ingredients. Especially well suited for dry skin types. Also all parts of the fruit are useful from the buttery fruit, rich natural oil that you can now find at the grocery store to the pit or stone that makes a wonderful skin scrub or massage tool. Here are a few ways I love using avocados. Feel free to message me with your own! and I can share.

Avocado Facial

For and easy and almost perfect treatment for dry skin, mash half an avocado and add a bit of lemons juice or apple cider vinegar. You can also add a teaspoon or two of avocado oil for a richer end product. To use Spread on clean skin and let sit for twenty minutes then wash off with warm water. Rewash your face with cool water and pat your skin dry.

Body Care

Avocado or avocado oil can be used as a facial or full body treatment when mixed with some honey, lemon and natural clay. The clay gives a firmer texture to the mixture and allows you to spread it all over your body -- it also helps detox your skin and remove surface impurities.

Hair Conditioner

Avocado oil can be added to any combination of pre-shampoo conditioners. An excellent one is two tablespoons of avocado oil and two beaten whole eggs with a little sage or rosemary added for dark hair types and chamomile for light hair.

Stone Scrub

If you save the avocado pit or stone and break it into small pieces using a small hammer or mallet then allow it to dry you can grind the bits in your food processor and add to your favorite creams or mix with a little natural oil to create an all over body scrub. You can also oil the natural fresh stone and use as a massage tool for sore muscles or roll under your feet to relax them.

Have a beautiful day and enjoy your avocados -- You are beautiful !

xoxo Janice

I appreciate the effort you put into writing such quality content. It's always nice to discover websites that genuinely focus on helping readers instead of just filling pages with unnecessary text.
